These checks separate product-family navigation from the exact electrical, storage, protection, communication, and evidence requirements used for project review.
System role, phase, and AC interface
Confirm PV-only or energy-storage operation, single or three phase, nominal AC voltage and frequency, rated power, current, grid connection, transformer and neutral arrangement, backup requirement, and the exact US model suffix.
PV input and MPPT design
Check maximum PV voltage, start voltage, MPPT operating window, input and short-circuit current, tracker and string count, array sizing basis, module current, temperature correction, connector, and any module-level shutdown interface.
Battery, BMS, and backup scope
For energy storage inverter models, verify battery voltage window, charge/discharge current, chemistry, usable energy, BMS protocol, firmware, approved combinations, backup output, transfer behaviour, parallel rules, protection, and commissioning needs.
Protection and rapid shutdown
Identify required DC and AC protection, isolation, surge protection, ground or residual-current functions, arc-fault or rapid-shutdown requirements, external devices, coordination settings, and local inspection expectations. Never assume a feature from a family name.
Communication and accessories
Match data loggers, wired or wireless communication, export power management, PLC control, rapid-shutdown devices, AC combiner, SolisCloud, meters, CTs, cables, connectors, and network requirements to the exact inverter and site architecture.
US documents and commercial inputs
Provide the exact model, application, quantity, installation country, utility or authority requirements, delivery target, trade term, packing constraints, and required datasheet, manual, certificate, grid evidence, compatibility file, warranty, spares, and substitution rules.
