Solis US C&I high-voltage hybrid review

Solis S6-EH3P(30-60)K-NV-YD-H-US(21A) C&I Hybrid Family

This Solis US commercial hybrid family uses the 21A suffix to identify its high-current PV-input generation. The current official flyer table covers 30K03, 40K04, 50K04 and 60K04 members, with 150-850 V MPPT operation, three or four MPPT trackers, two 150-800 V battery ports and 30-60 kW 480 V three-phase output. PV sizing, battery current, grid voltage code, backup overload and parallel operation vary by exact member and configuration and must not be borrowed from the older non-21A product route.

Current source identity: official Solis US S6-EH3P(30-60)K-NV-YD-H-US(21A) page and flyer. This page is intentionally separated from the older similarly named non-21A route, whose input-current wording and document set differ.

Current document status

The official page provides a current flyer, manual and a certificate with covered model patterns. Before quotation, confirm the exact K0X or 30K03/LV voltage code, ordering string, current manual/certificate coverage, approved battery and firmware, RSD receivers, meter/CT, generator and parallel controls, utility settings, one-line, commissioning and warranty package.

Current 21A-family evidence

Preserve the 21A suffix and member-specific voltage code

The official table is specific to a newer high-current family and should not be merged with older route data.

Four flyer members

The current table lists 30K03, 40K04, 50K04 and 60K04. Rated output, PV recommendation, tracker count, battery current and AC current differ by member.

21 A string-current generation

The table shows 42 A per MPPT input path, corresponding to two strings at up to 21 A each, with 65 A short-circuit allowance and three or four MPPT trackers.

Dual high-voltage battery ports

Two 150-800 V battery ports are shown, with 80 A per port for 30K03 and 84 A per port for higher members. This is not a universal battery-module approval.

Grid and backup table

The flyer table is 3/N/PE, 277/480 V and 60 Hz, with less-than-10 ms single-inverter switching and up to 1.6 times rated apparent power for two seconds.

US commercial hybrid RFQ inputs

Six checks before selecting the 30-60 kW 21A configuration

Suffix, voltage, PV, battery, controls and site acceptance must map to the same released model.

Full ordering model and grid

State 30K03/40K04/50K04/60K04 or other released K0X code, 208/240/480 V requirement, utility, jurisdiction, export rule and required certification coverage.

PV tracker schedule

Provide module and string Voc/Vmp/Isc/Imp, minimum temperature, strings per MPPT, orientation and DC/AC target; verify the 21 A string-current and 1000 V limits.

Battery and BMS system

Provide exact battery racks/modules, voltage window, usable kWh, current, port allocation, BMS/protocol/firmware, approved compatibility and listing/warranty evidence.

Backup, generator and weak-grid duty

Provide critical-load kW/kVA, motor starts, imbalance, transfer tolerance, autonomy, generator ratings/control, grid pass-through and required black-start or reserve behavior.

Parallel, metering and communications

Define inverter count, cabinet/control architecture, meter/CT, anti-reverse-flow, demand management, CAN/RS485, SolisCloud, LAN/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and optional 4G.

Engineering and acceptance files

Request one-line, current manual, certificate/model schedule, RSD compatibility, battery list, protection/settings, commissioning plan, warranty, packing and substitution control.

Suffix, battery and backup boundaries

Do not transfer non-21A data, maximum PV or overload claims across configurations

The complete model code and released document revision control the technical and regulatory scope.

21A and non-21A routes are different evidence sets

The older page uses different input-current marketing and files. Do not merge its specifications, compatibility or certification status into this 21A record.

Grid voltage follows the suffix

The current flyer table shows 277/480 V. Broader 208/240/480 V family marketing requires the exact K0X or LV variant and matching AC table, certificate and ordering code.

Battery amp-hours are not compatibility

Marketing support for 100-314 Ah modules does not prove voltage, current, BMS protocol, firmware, rack topology, listing or warranty approval for a particular battery.

Backup and parallel claims are conditional

Two-second overload, less-than-10 ms switching and up-to-ten-unit marketing require topology, mode, controls, load basis, protection, firmware and commissioning evidence.

Solis S6-EH3P 21A FAQ

Questions to close before releasing the commercial hybrid BOM

The exact suffix and topology should control every specification and document.

Can specifications from the non-21A Solis page be used here?

No. Treat the 21A route as a separate family generation and use only files that explicitly cover the quoted full model or documented model pattern.

Does the family support all 208, 240 and 480 V grids with one unit?

Do not assume that. The current flyer table is 277/480 V. Select the exact K0X or LV voltage code and require matching AC data and certificates.

Does 100-314 Ah mean any battery module is compatible?

No. Confirm rack voltage/current, BMS protocol, firmware, approved list, port topology, listing and warranty for the exact inverter-battery pair.

What should the 21A RFQ freeze?

Freeze full ordering code, PV/MPPT schedule, battery racks and ports, backup/generator loads, parallel/control topology, meter/CT, RSD, certificates, commissioning, warranty and BOM.
